Children of the Discordance
Tokyo based Children of the Discordance is a 'manifestation of the personal data accumulated throughout' the life of its founder Hideaki Shikama. Drawing inspiration from the nostalgia of fashion, music and counterculture movements from the 90s and onwards, the collections utilises updated and upcycled materials from Shikama's personal collection of archives and vintage sourced around the world over his lifetime. With a focus on paying respect to the craftsmen, creators and producers, the label reveals an ethically and sustainably output of sophisticated one of a kind garments.
